Wahhh I knew I haven't been blogging. I am feeling very tired and lack of sleep recently. I think the only reason is working longer and longer hours on weekends, which caused me to have insufficient beauty sleep. Eyebags are appearing - bad signs. Unhappy and whining aside. On 5th Dec, we had our department's D&D or so to speak. As our department only has 14 people, so we can't possibly book a ballroom for a proper D&D. And then again, it isn't possible for the entire bank to hold the D&D on the same day. I guess only Singapore Expo can contain us. Muahaha. Anyway, we had our dinner at Meritus Mandarin's Triple Three. Colleagues were saying how nice how nice the food were. To me, nothing was up to my standard there. I guess probably I don't take many things and it happened that only things I don't take turned out delicious. Saw my colleagues gobbling up the oysters. I seriously wonder how delicious it is. Then saw their sashimi and sushi, totally can't be compared with The Line at Shangri-La. Their way of presentation isn't as fresh and mouth-watering as The Line's. Their food were more to the special kind, like coffee pork ribs. Things you don't normally see outside, like tomato rice and I don't know what. Nothing seems appealing to me. I still think The Line is much better and much more worthwhile for the price. The main dish of Triple Three is supposed to be its lobsters. To me, crayfish aka 'hey po' tasted so much better than lobsters. Their lobsters came out not cold not hot (don't know how to explain). Served with either garlic or lobster bisque, doesn't taste fantastic as well. Overall, it did not turn out to be at any point of my expectations at all and to think it cost $79.80 after all the service charges and GST. Totally not worth it, in my point of view.

Following which, shopping everyday has become a pleasure. A greater "pleasure" to my bank account. Now, I can't reach my savings target. WTF! It's the first time I actually felt the Christmas mood in my entire life. All thanks to my colleagues I think. When I was younger, Christmas was just another public holiday to me, I do not receive pressies and all I do is send out cards and only get a few in return. Totally do not understand the joy of giving. I guess it's simultaneous for the joy of giving and receiving at the same time.

My department has this Angel and Mortal game for Christmas. We would pick a name from a box and then subsequently given a dateline to hang our wish on the Christmas tree. Our budget is above $10, and it can go till about $25 to $30. The rule of the game is that you cannot reveal your mortal, if you reveal, you would be forfeited by buying an additional gift to whoever you revealed to. Following which, we are supposed to buy our mortal's gift and put the gift on her table without people noticing. I am the first to receive my gift. Thank you, angel! Haha. I guess my angel is my boss. Hehe. Till today, there are still people who did not receive their gifts from their angels yet.

Apart from this, I realised the joy of buying Christmas gifts for people. I bought a gift each for the officers and for the support staff, I only bought for 2 out of the 5 of them. Don't ask me why, but I guess in work related, they are the only 2 who are supporting me in my reports. Hehe. Then all the officers also shared money to buy gifts for all of the support staff. Had fun going shopping to buy the gifts. Then bought for my 3 darlings, namely Qiqi, Jiaying and Pipi. Feel so Christmas this year. But I think my bank account also feel Christmas. Haha. Oh well, anyway, this is a slack and happy month. Next month will be a nightmare as there is a reorg in the bank and things are gonna be messy and we have to try to consolidate and find people to settle things. Let me enjoy this holiday!!!!! And read on for KL trip's postings.... I will be in KL on the 15th with 2 of my darlings. Hee... You all know who?!
