Hari Raya Haji was the day we had a mini Christmas celebration-cum-my mini house warming-cum-celebrating 10 years of knowing one another. Hee see how we combined all our celebrations together into one. Keke.

They came quite early to my place. We had pizza for lunch, followed by a few hours of playing of wii! OMG! my muscle ache really badly.

During Dinner, LiLi joined us. Actually we called Chiman and Siding along, but they couldnt make it. Hopefully, they can make it the next time round. I really love having my friends around! Such a happy day.

I whipped up a full meal for my beloved friends for dinner.

Look at this sumptuous dinner! Does it make u drool?

Dish 1: Sweet and sour pork.

Dish 2: Brocolli and Cauliflower with carrot and mushroom!

Dish 3: Cereal Prawns!

Dish 4: Hotplate Tofu...

Dish 5 Fried chicken wings.

I hope everyone is satisfied with the dinner hee. At least I was! Well, lastly we had Frosty the Snowman!

So cute right?!

Frosty has been cut. Poor thing. But we still love Frosty!!!!

21 December 2007

Darling and I went hunting around for ****** *******. It's a secret at the moment. Hehe. Guess correctly also no present hor! Heh. Anyway, we've got what we were hunting for. Then went to Hard Rock Cafe for Darling's company Christmas party. But so sad, I was denied entry, so darling had to bid goodbye to good food, good music, good company! Anyway, we strolled all the way to Cineleisure wanting to catch Lust Caution. However, Lust Caution was sold out! We were so shocked! Feeling all tired, we cabbed home. Anyway, on the way to Cineleisure, we took some photos. Hee happy! I love such strolls with Darling!

This was what we bought today at Bugis...

See! So kawaii right? Love Darling to bits for agreeing to hang this little pillow on his mobile. I know guys hate this. Haha.

Darling...

Me! Both of us are so happy! That's great!

Orchard Road.

Such a wonderful week spent with him and of course, my dearest sisters! I hope more of such days would come soon! Yippie!!!!

Anyway, tomorrow is my Christmas party in office. I am looking forward to a wonderful time with my colleagues! Will update again on Christmas! Tatas...

10 December 2007
was a very very happy day. Early in the morning I received a call on my mobile.
A: Hello. Can I speak to Ms Grace, please?
Me: Yes, speaking.
A: I am calling from Far East Flora, delivering some flowers to you. I am at your door, can you please open the door?
Me: Ok. (puzzled!)
As I walked to the door, I asked my colleague what's the date today? Whilst walking out, I kept telling myself no one will send me flowers on this day because it is no special day.
I saw the man at the door with a very cute basket of flowers. Immediately I asked him if he was sure this was for me. He say yes. Still puzzled, I signed as a receipient. Walking back to my seat, I was grinning from ear to ear. Colleagues were all in awe. They envied me, I bet. Hee... Anyway, this is my early Christmas present from the love of my life...

All the Monday Blues suddenly all disappeared into thin air... A very very happy lady!

Shall stop for now. Having a little problems with the browser. Shall continue tomorrow. Tatas~

Saturday, December 01, 2007

It's already Dec 1! That means 24 days to Christmas, 30 days to a New Year! I can't wait to get tomorrow's exam out of the way and then indulge myself in the festive season. Enjoy all the way till I start to chiong in work in Jan. Next year is going to be a challenging year as I have got to convince my 2 bosses that I have exceeded their expectations constantly i.e. to get a 5 (the best) in rating. This year I have far exceeded their expectations because of the 2 new important reports handed to me due to the resignation of some staff. I have manage to prepare and submit these 2 reports with a very high quality piece of work and with minimal errors. I really feel so proud of myself. Thus, next year, how do I far exceed their expectations whilst I am still doing the same reports? I really need to sit down and think it through. Must make progressive plans to show them I can still far exceed their expectations.

Anyway, talking about Christmas, I have a big "headache". I need to get about 20 Christmas pressies and till now, I have only thought about 7. OMG! 13 more to go... what do I get for them? It's causing a headache because I only buy things people use, I really put in a lot of thoughts into each person's gift, I don't just walk into a shop and grab something and then wrap it up and give it to someone. I have to ensure what I get the person will use. For those whom I am not so close, I will tend to sit down and think of something generic to get them, so whether they use or not, it's really not within my control. After exams, it's time I start my Christmas shopping, else, it's going to be so late!!!!

Christmas party for office has already been planned. I am the game master, 2 years consecutive. According to the older birds there, they say should let the new birds come up with creative ideas. So I changed how the game is played this year. I have been trying to get JY to reply my sms if she wans to meet up during Christmas with Qi and Pei. If she's ok then I will go plan something, however, she din reply me. Sad... Maybe she has plans already. Christmas with my family has also been well planned already. Just left with the buying of the food! Darling, how about you? What's our plan?

New Year's eve party with Darling and colleagues has been fixed on 29th Dec. It's a pot luck. If I am going, I need to bring something. Haven't thought of what I could bring. Let me think about it first. Mimi always say... if he asks u to go, u should go. girls are only afraid if the boys don't ask them to go. Hee. So maybe I should go but I gotta think of what I am bringing. And countdown party, anyone?!
