♥ Part & Parcel of my Life ♥
Monday, April 07, 2008

Today's a typical Monday, except that I headed to Tampines instead of the usual Raffles Place. I have grown accustomed to reaching Tampines at about 840am, sit in the Mac, enjoy the $2 Sausage Mcmuffin with a cup of Hot Tea and walk towards the office at 855am. Tomorrow's the last day I am going to do this, and I have a feeling I will miss such days. These days there are no dreads to go to walk. Everyday is so relaxing as all you need to do is to open your ears big to listen to what the trainer has to say. Occasionally take some notes and answer some questions. This is what is basically expected of me for the past 2 weeks. The happy thing is that there are no Monday blues! As I have said, no stress over the past 2 weeks. Life starts to seem a bit too comfortable that sometimes I question what I have been doing.

Today's big rock is to attend the training lesson punctually. Yes, big rock represents something important and urgent which you have to complete in the day. This was learnt in the 7 Habits training lesson and I am supposed to apply it on a daily and weekly basis. The second big rock of the day was to catch a movie with Darling.

As my close ones will know, I seldom have the time to go out and enjoy myself thoroughly without having to care about anything else, even if the sky falls down. And definitely they will know I am not a movie person. Well, since I have owed Darling a movie very long time ago, we decided to utilize his free Cathay tickets tonight.

We caught Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon featuring Andy Lau, Jet Li and Maggi Q.

In the first place before I even decided to watch this, I kept checking with Darling if this movie is boring, if I would fall asleep. In my perspective, Three Kingdoms is something which will definitely not attract me and it has been a sleepy topic for me. I know nuts about it! Yes! I have not even read the book. Finally, while queueing to get the tickets, I decided to catch this flick as it allows me time to have dinner before I watch the movie.

And now I want to tell you that I never regret watching this. It was really exciting since the beginning of the show. I have this thought coming to my mind: When will the movie end? You know sometimes when you watch some movies, you will definitely question yourself when will the movie end cos' simply you are already not very interested in the plot or it has got too draggy that your attention has diverted. I really love the movie, especially towards the end, it got so sad and touching that I dropped tears and started crying. Yes, the girl beside me was crying too so it isn't just my problem. It's really touching.

Thus, I highly recommend this flick to you people out there. Very very nice show! Thumbs up!

Tomorrow's big rock: Attend training punctually...
