One Saturday Darling and I were at Plaza Singapura. We went there to buy DIY stuff from Made with Love and Spotlight and Daiso. Before we started our shopping trip, we had lunch at the foodcourt.

This little boy we spot (Father - Chinese, Mother - American):

Look at his hair! I suspect he's Gatsby spokesperson! Haha... When he sat down, many people took out their camera phones and started capturing him on their cameras.

One more...

At the carpark, we spotted an interesting car. So cute!!

Winnie the Pooh and friends.

The side... Kawaii ne!

Look at the dashboard. You will see Winnie the Pooh & Friends playing on the greenery. Really too cute to resist! I wanted to break the windscreen and 'rescue' them! Hee...

2 interesting findings on a weekend in town. As all will know, I seldom go to town on weekends. Hee... so interesting to see these.

Realised that I have not been blogging for a long time. 2 - 3 weeks is quite long, considering I do update quite often. No one complains on the tag board thus, I believe no one comes to check. Whatever it is, I will continue to add pages to this online diary of mine.

Looking at the title, you can see that everything I am doing now is all about our wedding. Busy with every single bit of the preparation. As most of my close friends already know, I will be outstationed from mid-August onwards, will be back a few days for my ROM ceremony and fly back to work and only be back on mid/end November. As such, I've to get as much things done as possible so that I don't leave Darling with too much to settle on his own.

Pre-Wedding Photoshoot has come to a close on 15 Jul 2008. I really miss this day and this day will be kept in my memory forever. It was such a fun day! It was also my prettiest day! Of course I know there are 2 more pretty days to look forward to - ROM & Actual Day! Some photos (note that all photos are taken illegally) to share with all:

A very princessy me. Me with my indoor shoot gown.

Konichiwa~ Watashiwa Grace Desu~ Me in Kimono. Cute, right?

Me in red evening gown. Nice! There's one more evening gown which I wore but did not have a chance to take some photos illegally.

Not forgetting my outdoor gown. This gown has a lot of embriodery on it. Very pretty and light gown! I love it a lot!

Darling and I also caught Red Cliff! I love this flick a lot! I can't wait for Part 2 to come! And I love Guan Yu's character the most. I felt that he really acted very well, really resembled Guan Yu. :) Do catch it! I believe all will like this flick.

Alright, that's all for now. Gotta continue to get busy with my preparations again. So much to do, so little time!

Happy Birthday Daddy & Mummy!!!

8 Jul is Daddy's birthday and 9 Jul is Mummy's birthday. We had an early celebration as bro only books out during the weekends.

Let's backtrack a little first - 3 Jul 08 marks the 25th Wedding Anniversary of my parents! Happy Silver Anniversary Daddy & Mummy! We had our dinner and headed to Swensens for ice cream as dessert. Daddy was happy, so was Mummy! Check them out below!

While waiting for the ice cream to be served. Daddy smiled so happily cos' I ordered his favourite chocolate and coffee ice cream! Keke.

Mummy and the banana split (to be shared by me and her). Is Mummy drooling?

Mummy & Topless 5. 5 scoops of ice cream of your choice. We had 2 chocolate, 1 coffee, 1 strawberry and 1 mint. All Daddy's choice!

Mummy with Brandon's Chocolate Crunch.

Yes, you can see that Mummy became the endorser of Swensens ice cream! Haha... Eh for that night only la.

On Saturday, when my brother Jeremy booked out, we went to Satay Club (YES AGAIN! ALWAYS SATAY CLUB!) to have birthday dinner with Daddy and Mummy. All 5 of us went plus Kelvin. The other 2 girlfriends are not free la! Did not take any pictures there cos' I had forgotten my camera.

Afterwhich, when we reached home, we had a cake cutting session. This is a must in our family. Whoever's birthday we'll definitely prepare a cake for that person and sing birthday songs (both English and Chinese). It's a norm which I don't see many families practicing. Well, usually we'll try to have one cake each per person but because this year is the first time we celebrate their birthday together (although it's only a day apart, we will celebrate on 2 different days).

Happy Birthday!!!!

This is Happy Daddy and Mummy!

Really love this family photo. Everyone smiled so happily! I told Mummy I want to develop this into 8R. :) So pretty! As you can see, all our eyes resembles my mummy, except for my botak brother, trying so hard to open his eyes bigger! HAHA!

Making a wish... Daddy was not very serious eh! What was he thinking? (I think he's thinking where's my present? cos' we have not presented them with their presents yet)

A big puff to blow out the candle!

Finally, cake cutting. Then we presented them with an Ang Pow each. Really had no idea what to buy so I thought we'll just give a token to them. :)

We're glad they both enjoyed their birthday!

I have forbidded myself from buying much things during this GSS except for things that are necessary for ROM or wedding.

Check out my buys today... All for the ROM/Wedding:

A purple tie...

A pink tie...

A red tie...

3 ties cost $60 initially. I walked past the store today and saw 3 for $50! Gotta grab 'em! Saved 10 bucks. I am a happy girl. Darling has not seen the ties yet but I am sure he will love them cos' they are chosen by me. Hee.

Was on MC for the past 2 days due to a bad diarrhoea. I wonder what I ate wrongly. My stomach is just so weak! Yucks! Anyway, yesterday was feeling much better, thus, went out in the afternoon to source for some stuff for my wedding. Gotta get paper for printing of inserts of my invitation cards and gotta get a heart shape cutter for diy-ed confetti. The day before I went to a shop in Wheelock Place to check out the heart shape cutter, quite costly. Went home, bought it online and it costs $8 cheaper. Guess What?! Same store lo. OMG! Buying online from the same store is cheaper than walking in to buy. So happily I went down to collect today...

The heart shape cutter...

Tadah! Testing it out... I am gonna have many hearts in my wedding! Yeah!

On 30 June 08 (Mon), caught ShaoLin Girl.

It's a no-moral-of-the-story show. Caught this flick because we had to watch something that is no free list, and we did not want the movie to end too late. Anyway, before the movie, darling treat me to Swensens. So happy! Nowadays, we seldom eat out like a spendthrift. We are quite thrifty.

While waiting for our food.. Looking quite shagged. I think I slept too much in the day and without some makeup, I look so pale and tired.

Darling sipping on root beer.

This is me, sharing his mug of rootbeer. We both miss A&W rootbeer. This is nothing compared to A&W's!!!

Caesar salad with breaded chicken. Yummy! I've became a sucker for salad since I got together with Darling. He introduces me to such food which I would not have tried. I am not an adventurer when it comes to food.

My usual - healthier choice chicken and mushroom spaghetti.

His chilli fish pasta.

We ended the dinner with an Apple Crumble. It's his favourite. Yummy!

I am going broke this month again. It's mummy and daddy's birthday! It's Jiaying's birthday! All these are my loved ones. What should I get them?! Xin... what do you want??
