In preparation of my big day, my girls have been really helpful! We met up on 20 December 2008 at the new Jurong Point extension for dinner as well as discussion on gate crashing - on how to 'tekan' the groom and his brothers! *evil laugh*

Dinner at Swensens was great! Our skin was thick enough to sit in Swensens for about 3 hours on a Saturday evening. LOL. At some time, we felt really uncomfortable as there was a long queue outside and we ordered the second serving of ice cream.

Overall, the meeting was fruitful as we have fixed all the gate crashing games. Next up will be the preparation for the games which we have fixed it on 11 Jan 09!!! Getting more and more exciting! Yippie!

Some pictures to share:

Looking forward to 11 Jan 09!

Christmas 2008 - Steamboat dinner at my place on Christmas eve!

Last year, we had Christmas at my place too, but it's on Christmas day! This year, I decided to hold it on Christmas eve, at least can count down and wish each other Merry Christmas!

This year's attendees: Hubby, I, Jun Hong, Jia Ying, Lionel, Xiao Qi and Pei Pei.
Next year... I hope to have Pei's other half with us too!

This year, we did a gift exchange. Labelled the gifts with numbers of our choice. Played Dai Dee. Winner picks a number first. Pei & I were the last. :( We had to draw cards and see who has a greater sum. It was pure fun! Love it!

Now, let the pictures do the talking:

Looking forward to the next outing with them! *Loves*

Yesterday marks the 21st birthday of my beloved brother! Happy happy birthday!!!

Held a family celebration on 22 Nov. If you ask why celebrate so early, it's because I was expected to fly to BKK to work. After inviting all relatives, my boss told me that there are some changes and I need not fly. To minimise trouble of informing all that it is postponed, we decided to go ahead with it.

Party details:
Venue: My home.
Food: Nonya Buffet from Chilli Padi

This is the setup...

The spread of food includes Gado Gado, sambal sotong, Nanas Prawn, Nonya Fried Rice, Laksa, Zhap Chye, Chicken in black sweet & spicy gravy, Chicken ngoh hiang, Sambal Fish, Nonya Kuehs... Yummy!

The birthday boy! Erm or should I say the birthday man?

Mummy & The Man!

The buffet started...
My youngest cousin, Colette! Kawaii ne~

Look at the crowd in my living room. More people at the dining room and even outside the house playing mahjong!

The happenings outside the house. Sorry for the blurred picture~

Cake cutting time! My brother's 21st birthday cake. He's a pilot-to-be (hopefully!), thus, my aunt & uncle baked him an aeroplane cake! Check it out - SIA flight.

The front of the aeroplane. Boeing 737?

Our family~

The 2 birthday men! This is my uncle, also my brother's god-father! It is also his 50th birthday!

My brother presenting an Ang Pow to his god-father!

Overall, the food from Chilli Padi is good. Just that many items are slightly spicy. This is a warning to all those who cannot take spicy food! It was great to gather both my dad's and mum's side relatives together. However, my place is really small, thus, it was rather squeezy and noisy! The next time we'll see each other is on Chinese New Year!

Last but not least, Happy Birthday Bro!
