♥ Part & Parcel of my Life ♥

Was having late lunch with hubby at Pizza Hut, Bishan, when my phone rang. Usually even if it is unknown number, I'll just answer the call. I don't know why my reaction was so great when my phone rang, and I passed the phone to hubby for him to answer it for me.

Hubby: Who are you looking for?
Hubby: Who are you?
Hubby: There is no such person, you got the wrong no.

At that time, my mind was just thinking how could anyone get the wrong no. cos' I haven't had this problem since I changed to my current no. After hubby put down the phone, he told me it's SF who called. I couldn't believe it cos' I am absolutely sure she does not have my number unless someone gave it to her. I kept questioning hubby if she's really SF or is it just someone with a similar name. Hubby said the no. is 6387****, should be calling from Hougang, probably Woodbridge Hospital. I am like 'don't bluff me lor!' To be sure, I called back the no. Lady picked up and went 'Good afternoon, this is........' Could not really catch her. Finally,

Me: Sorry. Where is this place again?
Lady: Woodbridge Hospital, Mam. How can I help?
Me: (In shock) It's ok. Thank you.

After hanging up, I am now certain it's SF who called. We all knew she's admitted to IMH. My mood immediately sank cos' I am worried she will continue to call me. Stupid hubby got the cheek to say it's IMH's Call-A-Friend-Day! TMD!!! I immediately SMS-ed all my close friends to tell them I received her call. LOL.

Went home... wanted to ask my maid if she received calls at home. I forgot. But my maid came and asked me if there's someone who called me in the afternoon. Ta-DAH! It's my maid who gave her my no. My maid told me she has called for consecutive 3 days and always asked about my family and I. In the end, my maid gave her my no. Well, I told my maid the entire story and taught her how to 'deal' with such calls in future. Hopefully, it's a full stop for now.

Disclaimer: I am not trying to avoid my friend or anything. In fact, I've tried to help her in the past. But I just could not manage, in fact don't know how to manage. It's getting me crazy, and I have no choice but to totally ignore her.
