Valentine's 1st Birthday Bash was held on 23 May 09! Adam, Hubby & I attended the birthday bash together at Braddell Hills. It was a simple birthday party with buffet & cake cutting ceremony, but seeing Valentine just make me wanna have my own. She's absolutely cute!
The 3 of us bought her an anklet from Poh Heng. Hope it fits her well :)

Princess Valentine's Birthday Cake! This cost SGD 200+!!! The cake looks really pretty, in terms of taste, not that good as you can get quite sick eating the brownie cake.

Valentine & Mummy!

Valentine's Daddy!

Valentine is so happy as everyone is singing her a birthday Song!!!

Check this out! She's capable of winking at 1 year old! Cutie pie! She doesn't let anyone carry and they were all stunned that she's willing to be carried by me, for like 5 mins :)

She's really elated to be in my arms!!!
She pulled off my earrings & attempted to pull off my necklace as well! Itchy hands, Valentine!

Look @ her pouting! I was telling hubby this is how I pout too! Cutie!!!

It has been pretty long since hubby & I caught a movie together. I always feel that movies are expensive and I am not a big fan of movies. I especially love such genre of movies - thrill, horror, suspense. However, hubby is not a great fan of this genre.

Last Tues, we met up with Adam to get Baby Valentine's first birthday present. Had dinner together and decided to catch this flick! Thumbs Up!

The 3 of us love the twist in the show! And, the shocking scenes! I still remember one vividly! *Scary* Will highly recommend to all to catch this! =)

Our lives revolve pretty much around food. Both of us love enjoying good food together =)

Back track a little to 16 May 2009 (Sat) - Hubby's Lunar Birthday!
In my family, we have a tradition of eating Mee Sua on our Lunar Birthday, but not for hubby's family. Thus, decided to start this tradition for hubby this year.

Cooked 2 hard boiled eggs and make sure hubby removes the shell on his own. I cook the mee sua with some pork, mushrooms and the 2 hard boiled eggs and garnished with anchovies! Hubby loves it!

Today (25 May 09), hubby wanted Wan Tan mee for dinner. Had MIL to get ready the ingredients as well as the Wan Tan and I cooked them.

The end product is mouth watering!

The Char Siew wasn't that great cos' we couldn't get it from the market and bought it from NTUC instead. The noodle was marvellous!

My bowl of 9 wan tans... Haha.

Hubby's bowl of Wan Tan... lost count of them, but he finished them all!
*still savouring that dinner moment*

We both totally love days when my in-laws are not in town! Reason being we can cook anything we want and we clean it up the next moment! Usually when they are in, MIL will comment on how the food should be cooked, should not fry as the whole kitchen will be oily etc. Too many comments = naggings = me feeling frustrated.

Hubby bought roast duck from Dian Xiao Er. Fried mushroom omelette and cooked CP Wantan soup. This dinner is fabulous!!!

Our sumptuous dinner!!! Treasure such days!

Mother's Day 2009 is spent without my brother as he is overseas for a 9-months training. We had a simple steamboat dinner as we did not want to 'squeeze' with others. Bought mummy a cake which comes with a free stalk of pink carnation. Other gifts include picking Coach bags she like from my whole US shopping.

This cake is named Tea With Mom as it is a tea pot!!! Mummy was still asking around what we would like to drink. Hope she likes this simple little Mother's Day celebration.

On another note, we just placed our bid for our desired Car Plate No. this afternoon.

Wish us luck!!!
