We have engaged a driver at 350,000 Rupiah to bring us around Bali for this day. He picked us up at the hotel at 1pm. Our first stop was supposed to be Tanah Lot Temple. However, as we have not had our lunch, we have requested for the driver to bring us out for lunch. This actually caused a delay in the itinerary and we missed the sunset for the night. Anyway, for that yummy lunch, it was totally worth it.
We were brought to a Chinese restaurant - Furama restaurant. Food was cheap & good!
Kang Kong in hot plate.

Claypot Tofu.

Kung Po Chicken.
Fu Yong Egg.

Total lunch bill was about SGD 25. It was a super lovely lunch!

Then, we made our way to Tanah Lot, passing by Kuta beach. Kuta beach is a famous beach amongst tourists. The shops and boutiques there - you can obviously tell that they are expensive and catered for tourists. The driver asked if we would like to stop to take some photos, but to us, a beach is just a beach. There is nothing very special about the Kuta Beach, thus, we decided to just move on. It was about a 2 - 3 hours drive to Tanah Lot, I couldn't exactly remember how long it took.

The bat we saw along the walkway to Tanah Lot temple.

You get nearer to it and it will spread its wings!

Nearing the entrance of Tanah Lot temple.

At the entrance to Tanah Lot temple.

This man is singing his one-man puppet show! Cool!

Some scenery shots:

Walking further, we saw some dance going on.
The dancer. Many foreigners were crowding around the area and taking photos.

More scenery shots at Tanah Lot:

I love such sceneries!

Sitting by the edge at the opposite side of Tanah Lot temple:
The street leading to the Tanah Lot temple sells lots of local produce e.g. weaved bags, baskets, sarongs, wood carvings etc.
They also had temporary tattoo service. This tattoo will be on you only for 2 weeks :)

We also spent 20,000 Rupiah for this man to take a photo of 2 of us with the Tanah Lot temple. They will print it for you on the spot. The amazing thing is that they had portable printers with them and ready-made borders for your photo. And, the quality of photo is very good despite their no-brand camera! Most importantly, it is cheap (only SGD 3)!
Spent slightly more than 1 hour in Tanah Lot. Not very big place but both of us love the scenery, thus, experimented more with our camera and took more scenery shots for our memory keepsake. Love this place for the way it is.
